Pete Thorn may describe himself as a guitar nerd, but his career tells a different story.

As a sought after sideman for artists such as Don Henley, Chris Cornell and Melissa Etheridge, and with a successful solo release to his name, Thorn has built a reputation on dynamic, refined playing. His long standing collaboration with Suhr has resulted in several signature products, including the PT100 amplifier and Thornbucker pickups. His Signature guitar was introduced at NAMM 2017.

The Suhr Pete Thorn Standard 01 SIG 0029 in Garnet Red is based on a custom spec Suhr Standard model that Pete has relied on extensively in the studio and on tour. It features Thornbucker pickups mounted in pickup rings, a first for Suhr, delivering articulate humbucker tones with clarity and balance. The Even C Slim neck profile offers a fast and exceptionally comfortable playing experience.
