Taylor 214Ce 2012

This 2012 Taylor 214ce combines a solid sitka spruce top with rosewood back and sides in Taylor's popular Grand Auditorium shape. The spruce top keeps the sound clear and lively, while the rosewood adds warmth and a full low end, and the forward shifted bracing helps the top move freely for extra volume and response. The Grand Auditorium body sits nicely between a dreadnought and a smaller concert guitar, so it feels comfortable to play and works just as well for strumming as for fingerstyle. With its cutaway and onboard Taylor electronics, it is easy to reach the upper frets and ready to plug in whenever you need it.

The 214ce is part of Taylor's 200 Series, a range designed to bring the playability and clear, balanced sound Taylor is known for to a more accessible guitar. The sapele neck and ebony fingerboard make it easy to play, and with its tortoise pickguard, white binding and dot inlays it has a clean, classic look that never goes out of style.

This 2012 214ce is in excellent condition and shows some signs of play. The back has a few noticeable small dings, and there are some light scratches and little dings elsewhere on the guitar. The neck is starting to show a light shine, which is completely normal with use. It comes with a padded gigbag.
