Taylor 812ce Grand Concert Next Generation

The Taylor 812ce is the flagship of Taylor's 800 Series and one of the most refined Grand Concert models the company builds. Combining a compact, supremely comfortable body with premium tonewoods and Taylor's modern innovations, it is made for players who value clarity, nuance and effortless playability.

Solid Indian rosewood back and sides are paired with a solid sitka spruce top, the classic pairing that gives the 812ce its rich, detailed voice with depth, clarity and lush overtones. Taylor's patented V-Class bracing adds extra volume, sustain and improved intonation across the neck. It is beautifully finished too, with an elegant rosewood armrest bevel and rock maple binding framing the body, complemented by a rosewood pickguard and an abalone rosette for an understated, high-end look.

The Grand Concert body is compact and incredibly comfortable, ideal for fingerstyle and more intimate playing, while the mahogany neck with its soft V profile and ebony fingerboard plays effortlessly. A Venetian cutaway gives easy access to the upper frets, and the onboard Expression System 2 delivers Taylor's acclaimed amplified tone, ready for the stage straight out of the case. The result is a richly textured sound with crisp trebles, a warm low end and the touch sensitivity Taylor is famous for.

It comes supplied in a hardshell case with a TFOA Passport.
