Thomas Humphrey Millennium Classical guitar Brazilian Rosewood 1990

This 1990 Thomas Humphrey Millennium pairs solid Brazilian rosewood back and sides with a spruce top, custom bracing and Humphrey's signature elevated fingerboard. The result is a great guitar with the power, projection and easy upper-register access collectors and concert players still chase today.

American luthier Thomas Humphrey (1948–2008) spent nearly forty years building classical guitars, but it was the Millennium, introduced in 1985, that made his name. He reworked the internal bracing and sloped the soundboard to chase more volume, sustain and projection, and raised the fingerboard to give players easier reach into the upper register. Production stayed small, and each Humphrey-built Millennium remains highly sought-after today.

This 1990 Thomas Humphrey shows some light playing wear, small scratches and a few dings, mainly on the body. Even so, it looks clean and is in excellent condition overall. It comes with a hardshell case and CITES documentation for the Brazilian rosewood.
