The Dog Hair finish itself is a Collings signature: a dark lacquer base hand-finished with a lighter grain filler, applied and timed by hand so the texture varies from guitar to guitar.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis one pairs a set of Lollar Low Wind humbuckers with a simple volume, tone and 3-way switch layout, a Tune-o-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, and a Honduran mahogany neck with a C profile, rosewood fingerboard, 632mm scale and 43.2mm nut width. It's in excellent condition overall, with a small chip on the top just to the right of the neck humbucker and a few light scratches where a pickguard would normally sit — nothing beyond that.
