Every now and then, Eastman releases a special model that goes a step further, like this Large Soundhole model that was developed in collaboration with Acoustic Shoppe!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cp dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0px;\"\u003eJust like the regular E20D, this special model features a Thermo Cure Adirondack spruce top with a Truetone Gloss finish, but with an enlarged sound hole like the one we know from the 1935 D28 by Clarence White and Tony Rice. This enlarged sound hole gives the guitar more bass response and better projection, making this Eastman an absolute bluegrass cannon!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0px;\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0px;\"\u003eThe guitar also has some impressive specifications. For example, both the body and neck have an ivoroid binding, with a herringbone purfling on the body. Eastman has also applied a beautiful Dalmatian-style pickguard to the top, along with an ebony bridge with an important detail. Eastman has something special up its sleeve here too, because the rosewood headstock lacks the logo!
