Bernabe Torres Maple 2015

This superb Torres model guitar is signed on the label by Paulino Bernabé Jr. It is a beautiful tribute to the father of the classical guitar, Don Antonio de Torres, and this highly collectible instrument is a true masterpiece.

This is a fantastic Bernabe concert guitar, modeled after an 1864 Torres named "La Suprema". Beyond these construction details, this guitar has rich marquetry, with many nods to the master’s guitars, such as the mother-of-pearl inclusions on the bridge and the rosette. Finally, the Alessi tuning machines are replicas of the original “Jerom” often used by Torres.

The 30 years old woods are of similar characteristics to those of Torres' times. It has a brilliant and expressive sound and a sweet and delicate tone, rich in harmonics and with a comfortable playability.

It has some playwear, mostly on the top, but is in very good condition. Travels in a Hiscox case with certificate of authenticity.
