Collings 02 12 String German Spruce Rosewood

The combination of the timeless looks and enduringly popular tone of the 0-size and now with a 12-string configuration has resulted in this unique new model. Beautifully finished with eye-catching details, such as the slotted headstock and the subtle mother-of-pearl and abalone inlay.

The 02 consists of the parlor sized 0-body with Indian Rosewood back and sides, paired to a selected German Spruce top, which gives this 12 string a bold voice that knows how to be soothing as well.

It's extremely responsive and has a lively midrange with excellent note separation. However, don't be fooled by her small appearance as she can produce wonderful, shimmering highs and rich lows as well.

The neck reminds us that this is a traditional model, but adds a modern neck shape and playability to the equation, which makes this Collings very comfortable to play. This makes the Collings 02H the ideal finger-style guitar and popular in the recording studio.
