Collings CJ Mh 2019

The Collings Jumbo or CJ is the Collings rendition of the classic slope-shouldered dreadnought, a shape which has enjoyed renewed popularity in recent years.

While the CJ is similar in width and depth to the traditional dreadnought, it has a distinctly different tone. This specific instrument has a long 25.5 inch scale length which is a perfect combination with the large body, resulting in a powerful and supremely balanced tonal character.

The body was crafted using genuine Honduras mahogany in combination with Sitka spruce bound with tortoise bindings and black/white trim. The back of the body has been fitted with a custom style-3 backstrip. The Honduras mahogany neck boasts an ebony fingerboard adorned with ivoroid purling and tortoise binding. The C-shape neck also makes sure the playability is smooth and easy.

This CJ Mh has some light playwear on the pickguard and the back of the body, making the condition excellent, but it is still close to near mint. Includes the original hardshell case with TFOA passport.
