Collings D1 Mahogany Spruce 2015

The 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar model in the world. In addition to the usual depth and warmth, this Collings produces a surprisingly bright mid and high.

While the deep bass response makes the dreadnought ideal for accompanying vocals, the Collings dreadnoughts are often used by bluegrass flatpickers who have to compete with instruments that are inherently louder such as banjos and violins. The Sitka spruce top, combined with the Honduran mahogany back and sides, add significantly more highs and responsiveness.

Collings stands for overall top quality in sound, finish and playability. This pre-owned D1 is therefore an exceptionally good guitar, beautifully finished, plays extremely smoothly due to the comfortable modified V neck profile and sounds distinctive, especially in terms of clarity. Has some traces of use and playwear, which shows that this guitar has been played well. Is in Very Good condition.
