Gibson L4 10th Anniversary White Diamond Sparkle 2003

Unique and extremely rare Gibson Custom Shop 10th Anniversary L-4 CES made in 2003. In 2003 Gibson's Custom, Art & Historic division celebrated their 10th anniversary with four special models. These unique guitars featured a Diamond White Sparkle finish and highly engraved gold hardware. These four guitars payed tribute to a century's worth of Gibson history, as well as a decade of Custom Shop artistry.

This L-4 CES has the usual maple body topped with a spruce top, maple neck with rosewood fretboard, split parallelogram inlays, but made unusual with gold tuners, a gold tailpiece and it’s very significant White Diamond Sparkle Finish. She's truly a sight to behold, and the tone 100% matches it's looks. Very responsive, resonant, full and smooth with perfect playability.

Although there should be 30 of these instruments in existence (however, numbers vary heavily) we've not encountered a similar guitar in our long history of selling and buying instruments. Needless to say this is a truly amazing collectors-piece. The guitar is in excellent condition, the gold hardware is fading in places, there's some weather-checking and barely noticeable dents and light scratches the finish. Comes with OHSC and Certificate.
