Jonas de Kesel Competa Torres

Jonas de Kesel Competa. Made by one of the most talented young Luthiers we know. From the first moment we met back in Bergentheim Jonas we were charmed and impressed by his skills, modesty and personality. This guitar is based on instrument from the end of the 19th century (Torres), and this can be seen by the detailing and choices in tonewood. The guitar features a spruce top, cypresse body, ebony fretboard, madagscar rosewood bridge and inlays and handbuilt gold Perona tuners with ivoroid buttons. This is NOT a flamenco guitar but a very classy rich sounding Concert guitar. With French polish finish.  This fragile lacquer shows the usual nail marks, or playwear on the top, mainly on the treble side and together with the other traces of use that can be found here and there, this Jonas de Kesel Competa is in excellent condition. This guitar sounds amazing, has plenty sustain and sounds amazing in the high notes with a big volume and plenty strong mid section. The Tone Seperation is of the highest level, as can be expected from the Perfectionist Jonas de Kesel is.
