Casella was one of many luthiers based in Catania in Sicily, which was the centre of the Italian massmarket instrument industry in the late 19th/early 20th century. This bowlback mandolin from circa 1910 has 21 ribs, 332mm scale length, 28mm nutwidth. Condition is fair; the action is high but playable, it has a repaired crack in the back and there are a few small other repairs. Does not include case or gigbag.
