Martin D18 1940
The D18 shows the almighty dreadnought in one of it's most coveted forms using mahogany for the back and sides and Adirondack spruce for the top. This D18 is from 1940 so it features scalloped bracing, tortoise binding and an ebony fretboard.
In 2013, this guitar some thorough maintenance was done by David Musselwhite, so it is now in good condition with a pleasant playability. During this maintenance it has gotten a neck reset, the cracks on the back and side of the body have been repaired, and the bridge, tuners, and pickguard have been replaced.
This is, as you would expect, a great sounding guitar with a colorful and beautifully dry, vintage character with a woody warm tone that you only find in an old Martin.
Includes a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
