Martin D21 1956

This is a beautiful Martin D21 from 1956. The body consists of Brazilian rosewood with a straight grain and that wonderful color, which is still astonishingly clean. The spruce top shows that the instrument is well played and has style 21 details. The extraordinary sound of this classic and highly sought after tonewood combination has an almost addictive quality, which can be experienced when playing this instrument, thanks to a professional neck reset, refret and set-up, and the beautiful, comfortable soft V-shaped mahogany neck that plays like a dream.

This Martin dreadnought from 1956 is in good condition with the expected traces of use and playwear that can be found on a vintage instrument. In addition, the back has two repaired cracks and the top has a 'standard' pickguard crack that has also been repaired. The neck reset has left some traces behind, so there is a light retouch around the neck joint on the top. Includes newer Martin hardcase and CITES.

Consignment.
