Martin D28 1964

To have a Martin D28 reach to its full potential, it has to be played for a good long while. This model from 1964 certainly has been played a lot and sounds awesome! It's everything you could want out of a vintage D28. It might have its fair share of traces of use, but this is a guitar that's meant to be played and it simply sounds fantastic.

The acclaimed Brazilian rosewood is found on the back and sides of the body, and is joined by a Sitka spruce top for a full, deep sound, with a dynamic response. It also has a maple bridge plate, the original Grover Rotomatic tuners and 'non-scalloped' bracing.

The top has some repaired cracks, including the common pickguard crack. In addition to a neck reset and refret, the neck has also been given a refin. For its age, this D28 still looks clean and also has excellent playability. It is proudly shows the traces of time, but is still in good condition.

Comes in a newer hardshell case.
