Since 1985, guitar builder David Iannone has been making Morgan guitars, in as he describes it beautifully "a tireless search for the finest materials and the endless pursuit of a peerless attention to detail, an intricate dance of consciousness, technique, and effort" resulting in superior handcrafted instruments. He makes fewer than 100 guitars a year and his guitars are highly appreciated.

This Concert model was made by him in 2000 and contains beautiful features such as the This guitar radiates the typical Canadian approach using the classical body shape and the Florentine cutaway, while the foundation consists of the use of age old techniques, which leads to a extremely good instrument that is well worth its price. This Concert Cutaway is in very good condition with signs of wear including some dings on the lower bout of the top and the right side. In addition, there is playwear on the top, mainly on and around the pickguard. This Concert cutaway features an Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, mahogany bindings with black and white purflings, abalone rosette. The mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard which is bound with ivoroid. The guitar is equipped with LR Baggs Element active system. The guitar has aged very nicely, it's sounds open, has great typically upperclass dynamics, and plays very comfortably with a great action and setup.
