Incredible almost 50 year old Ramirez 1A Classical guitar with rare brazilian rosewood back and sides and cedar top made in 1971, being in the used but excellent condition this guitar is in, it is a rarity, a guitar with no issues, non whatsoever. The condition is what we would call respectfully played but excellent, with signs of playwear but no mis-use. This guitar was built in the famous workshop of Jose Ramirez III, which produced instruments performed on by countless professionals over the years from Sting to Segovia, Chet Atkins to Sabicas and Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening. It has had a setup in our repairsshop and plays like a dream. The tone is, like every Ramirez 1a, thick, full and rich yet clear, and has that essential warm, mysterious and moody quality that made Ramirez famous, especially those with brazilian rosewood. The guitar features perfectly coloured and grained brazilian rosewood with beautiful heus and colors, Cedar top, rosewood bindings, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, 665mm scale, 53.5mm nut width excellent playability superb typical Ramirez tone, and a rosewood bridge.
