Sadowsky Metroline Modern Bass 4 Ocean Blue Transparent Satin

The Metroline basses are built by Roger Sadowsky's personally trained protégé Yoshi Kikuchi in Tokyo, Japan. Kikuchi has become a superior craftsman in the year that he learnt the art of bass building at Sadowsky in New York City. Now, these instruments are built by hand by a small team of craftsmen in Japan, under supervision of Roger Sadowsky.

This 4-string Sadowsky Metroline has an alder body with a beautiful Ocean Blue transparent finish, a maple neck with a Morado fingerboard, soapbar pickups and the classic Sadowsky Treble and Bass boost preamp with true bypass switch.

A great sounding bass, with a clearly defined and resonant bass sound. Ideal for the bass player with more skills and specialties, but who still attaches importance to the 4-string tradition. Tight in the rhythm section, dominant in the solo parts, but subtle and subsurvient in the band.
