Sergei de Jonge is a Quebec Canada, based luthier and has earned a great- and worldwide reputation for his amazing steel string- and classical guitars. He is considered one of the most important Canadian guitar makers of this era. His instruments are made with meticulous attention to detail.
This is a top of the line Sergei de Jonge Standard. Its size lies between an OM and dreadnought, perfect for both fingerstyle and strumming; powerful but also perfectly balanced. It features gorgeous Macacauba back and sides matched to a Mastergrade bearclaw German spruce top.
This beautiful guitar is detailed to perfection, features a spalted maple rosette and birdseye maple bindings matched with multiple wood layered purfling. The overall sonic impression of the guitar is simply 'overwhelming'. The incredible deep tones fight with the heavenly overtones for attention, and the strong midrange and perfect balance makes this guitar definitely one of the most appealing guitars a player could wish for.
Some light playwear on the back of the body and the top make this a B Stock.
