Gibson Hummingbird Herritage Cherry sunburst 2016 USED

USED but like new The Gibson Hummingbird stands out strong and proud. Introduced in 1960 as Gibson’s first square-shouldered dreadnought, the Hummingbird was rapidly embraced by everyone from Keith Richards to Gram Parsons. The Hummingbird’s appeal lies in its versatility. It's equally good at strumming as playing single notes or play fingerstyle higher up on the neck. And that makes it the perfect singer songwriter guitar. Made in Bozeman, MT, USA, today’s Hummingbird lives up to its pedigree  as, quite simply, one of the finest acoustic guitars available today.

The Hummingbird is also a great  Recording guitars. Famous songs like 'Angie' were recorded with the Hummingbird, and it is one of the most favoured guitars among recording engineers. Another one of its characteristics is that the wood combination of Sitka and mahogany matures very fast, and grows towards the player.
