Ibanez Steve Vai JEM7V EVO 1994

Ibanez JEM7V. The Ibanez JEM is an electric guitar series manufactured by Ibanez, it was first introduced in 1987 at the NAMM show. The guitar is well known for is its co-designer, Steve Vai. Although the Ibanez JEM series is a signature series guitar, Ibanez has mass-produced several several of the JEM models. This JEM7V was introduced in 1993 and is still in production.

The design of the Ibanez JEM series was heavily influenced by the superstrat style of guitars of the early 1980s such as the Jackson Soloist, Kramer Beretta and Hamer Chaparral. A more aggressively styled guitar in terms of shape and specifications compared to the Stratocaster on which they are based. This JEM7V features a American Basswood body with a white finish and pearloid binding, maple JEM prestige neck with ebony fretboard, vine inlay, Floyd Rose Licenced tremolo, 24 W/6120 frets, DiMarzio evolution pickups, 21-24th frets are scalloped, 43mm (1 11/16") nut width, 648mm (25 1/2") scale length, 3,5kg. The JEM prestige neck plays like butter, all your sweep-picking and razor sharp and fast solo's will come out like never before. The guitar is excellent condition with some light playwear and several dings in the finish. Includes non-original hardshell case.
