Uit een jarenlange samenwerking tussen Richard Thompson en Lowden is dit signature-model ontstaan. De combinatie van houtsoorten en de andere specificaties zijn door Richard zelf gekozen, met deze fraaie gitaar als resultaat.
Het 'F'-model is wat je het Lowden Auditorium model kunt noemen met een klankkast die slechts een klein beetje breder en dieper is in vergelijking met een Orchestra model. Uitermate geschikt voor fingerstyle, met een goede balans, maar ook zeer krachtig en sterk genoeg voor ritme spel. De body van de F35 is gemaakt van ziricote, met daarbij een top van prachtig verfijnd Red cederhout.
De constructie en afwerking van deze F35 zijn van de hoogwaardige kwaliteit die we van Lowden gewend zijn. Zo wordt er bijvoorbeeld gebruik gemaakt van hun eigen 'Dolphin' bracing en de kenmerkende vijfdelige hals van mahonie, purperhart en walnotenhout. Tot slot worden onze ogen ook gestreeld met prachtige details zoals de purfling van esdoorn, rocklite en mahonie, de abalone rozet en de ziricote kopplaat op de voor en achterkant van de kop.
Op een paar kleine speelsporen na op de slagplaat en achterkant van de klankkast, ziet deze gitaar er nog ontzettend schoon uit. Hij verkeert dan ook zeker in excellente conditie en wordt geleverd in de originele koffer.

The 'F' model is what you might call the Lowden Auditorium model with a sound box that is only slightly wider and deeper compared to an Orchestra model. Extremely suitable for fingerstyle, with a good balance, but also very powerful and strong enough for rhythm playing. The body of the F35 is made of ziricote, with a top of beautifully refined red cedar.
The construction and finish of this F35 are of the high quality that we have come to expect from Lowden. For example, they use their own 'Dolphin' bracing and the characteristic five-piece neck made of mahogany, purple heart and walnut. Finally, our eyes are also delighted with beautiful details such as the maple, rocklite and mahogany purfling, the abalone rosette and the ziricote headstock plate on the front and back of the headstock.
Apart from a little playwear on the pickguard and back of the body, this guitar still looks incredibly clean. It is therefore definitely in excellent condition and comes in its original hardshell case.
Dieses Signature-Modell ist das Ergebnis einer langjährigen Zusammenarbeit zwischen Richard Thompson und Lowden. Die Kombination der Hölzer und die anderen Spezifikationen wurden von Richard selbst ausgewählt, was zu dieser wunderschönen Gitarre führte.
Das "F"-Modell ist das, was man als Lowden Auditorium-Modell bezeichnen könnte, mit einem Resonanzkörper, der im Vergleich zu einem Orchester-Modell nur etwas breiter und tiefer ist. Sie ist sehr gut für Fingerstyle geeignet, mit einer guten Balance, aber auch sehr kraftvoll und stark genug für das Rhythmusspiel. Der Korpus der F35 ist aus Ziricote gefertigt, mit einer Decke aus schön veredelter roter Zeder.
Die Konstruktion und das Finish dieser F35 sind von der hohen Qualität, die wir von Lowden gewohnt sind. So werden beispielsweise die hauseigenen "Dolphin"-Beleistung und der charakteristische fünfteilige Hals aus Mahagoni, Purple Heart und Nussbaum verwendet. Schließlich erfreuen auch schöne Details wie die Randeinlagen aus Ahorn, Rocklite und Mahagoni, die Abalone-Rosette und die Ziricote-Kopfplatte auf der Vorder- und Rückseite der Kopfplatte unser Auge.
Abgesehen von ein paar Spielspuren auf dem Schlagbrett und der Rückseite des Korpus sieht diese Gitarre immer noch unglaublich sauber aus. Sie ist daher definitiv in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand und wird in ihrem Original-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
