After almost 4 years, the time has come for PRS to launch the SE line of the Silver Sky. The SE line has lots of similarities with its USA made predecessor, like the three 635JM single coil pickups which bring a balanced vintage tone.

PRS is terug met een gloednieuwe toevoeging aan de SE Line-gitaren met de SE Silver Sky. Na het succes van het door gitaarvirtuoos John Mayer populair gemaakte Silver Sky, is PRS terug met een betaalbare versie van de populaire S-Style gitaar.
Uitgerust met een gladde palissander toets die de unieke PRS-vogelinleg bevat, heeft de SE Silver Sky dezelfde vintage klinkende 635JM-pickups die speciaal zijn gemaakt voor de SE-lijn. De grootste verschillen met zijn Amerikaanse voorganger zijn het tonewood Poplar en de non-locking stemmechanieken.
Na een nauwe samenwerking tussen Paul Reed Smith en John Mayer, werd de PRS Silver Sky voor het eerst gelanceerd in 2018 en is het uitgegroeid tot een bekende basis in de huidige line-up van elektrische gitaren van PRS. Met een S-Stye lichaamsvorm en drie single-coil pickups balanceert de Silver Sky perfect tussen vintage en modern en klinkt bekend en uniek tegelijk.
PRS is back with a brand new addition to the SE Line guitars with the SE Silver Sky. After the success of the American made Silver Sky that was made popular by guitar virtuoso John Mayer, PRS is back with an affordable version of the popular S-Style guitar.
Equipped with a smooth rosewood fretboard which holds the unique PRS bird inlays, the SE Silver Sky has the same style vintage sounding 635JM pickups which were specially made for the SE line. The biggest differences to its American predecessor are the tonewood Poplar and the non-locking tuners.
