This means that this instrument has a hand-carved solid spruce top and hand-carved solid maple back and sides. The ebony fingerboard and adjustable ebony bridge complete the attractive appearance together with the elegant Goldburst finish, ivoroid bindings and pearl block position markers.
The A-style body provides this instrument with a warm, rich tone and excellent projection. Eastman is one of the finest musical instrument makers China has to offer, and this mandolin if proof of that.
