BSG OM27CF Nylon Crossover Spruce

BSG guitars are built by Jan Šťovíček in the Czech Republic, and are increasingly appreciated around the world for their very high build quality that comes close to brands like McIlroy and Lowden, but also has a hint of American character. With very finely detailed quality, craftsmanship and impressive tone and character.

Jan and his small team only make a maximum of 200 guitars a year, entirely by hand, and quality is paramount. The powerful guitars, with a clear and subtle character, the perfect balance with a powerful deep bass that characterizes all his guitars make you wonder how this quality is possible at this price level.

This OM27CF Nylon has an Indian rosewood back and sides with a European spruce top and a mahogany neck. The details are impressive. The body is bound with flamed maple from which the back strip is also made. The multistripe edge inlay and rosette are made of wood, the latter of which has an abalone core. The neck and headstock are also fully bound with flamed maple and wood edge inlays.

The headstock is made in the very nice Selmer style like on the main Gypsy Jazz guitars which is a great addition to this guitar. The sound is balanced with pleasant mids and a clear projection.
