Deze Custom Shop versie combineert het geliefde J45 DNA met premium Adirondack sparren en een prachtige Tri Burst finish die de natuurlijke houtstructuur perfect benadrukt. Het scalloped X-bracing en de traditionele slope shoulder bodyvorm leveren die klassieke Gibson warmte en projectie waar generaties muzikanten op hebben vertrouwd.
Sinds 1942 staat de J45 bekend als Gibsons onvermoeibare werkpaard, geliefd door singer-songwriters en professionals wereldwijd. De Custom Shop versie eert deze traditie door terug te grijpen naar de oorspronkelijke specificaties uit de gouden jaren, met het premium Adirondack sparren dat destijds standaard was. Dit hout, ook wel Red Spruce genoemd, was jarenlang schaars maar is nu weer beschikbaar voor deze bijzondere Custom Shop uitvoering.
Het Adirondack sparren bovenblad zorgt voor een levendiger en meer open klank vergeleken met het standaard Sitka sparren, met meer dynamiek en een rijkere overtoonstructuur. De scalloped X-bracing geeft het bovenblad de vrijheid om optimaal te resoneren, wat resulteert in die kenmerkende J45 warmte met extra diepte en complexiteit. Het SlimTaper halsprofiel biedt comfortabel speelgemak voor zowel akkoordspel als fingerstyle, terwijl de LR Baggs VTC pickup zorgt voor natuurlijke versterking wanneer nodig.

Since 1942, the J45 has been known as Gibson's tireless workhorse, beloved by singer-songwriters and professionals worldwide. The Custom Shop version honors this tradition by returning to the original specifications from the golden age, with the premium Adirondack spruce that was standard at the time. This wood, also known as Red Spruce, was scarce for years but is now available again for this special Custom Shop version.
The Adirondack spruce top produces a livelier and more open tone compared to standard Sitka spruce, with more dynamics and a richer overtone structure. The scalloped X-bracing allows the top to resonate freely, resulting in that signature J45 warmth with added depth and complexity. The SlimTaper neck profile offers comfortable playability for both chordal playing and fingerstyle, while the LR Baggs VTC pickup provides natural amplification when needed.
The guitar comes in a hardshell case with a TFOA passport.

Das SlimTaper-Halsprofil bietet komfortable Spielbarkeit sowohl für Akkorde als auch für Fingerstyle, während der LR Baggs VTC-Tonabnehmer bei Bedarf für natürliche Verstärkung sorgt.
Die Gitarre wird in einem Hartschalenkoffer mit TFOA-Pass geliefert.
