The Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster is built to the exact specifications of Slowhand’s legendary Blackie Stratocaster. Introduced in 1988, it was Fender’s very first Artist Signature model, launched alongside the Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster.

De 3 Vintage Noiseless single coil pickups leveren het klassieke single coil geluid zonder storende 60 cycle hum. De TBX tone control en Active Midboost zorgen voor een uitgebreid klankbereik. De TBX tone control werkt anders dan een conventionele tone control doordat deze zowel treble kan toevoegen als verminderen, terwijl de Active Midboost verantwoordelijk is voor Claptons bekende Woman Tone.
Uitgevoerd in de geliefde Pewter finish vertoont dit exemplaar lichte speelsporen op de body en slagplaat, maar is verder opvallend schoon. De gitaar verkeert in excellente conditie en neigt naar near mint.

Equipped with 3 Vintage Noiseless single coil pickups, this Strat delivers classic single coil tone without unwanted 60 cycle hum. The onboard TBX tone control and Active Midboost circuit expand the tonal range significantly. The TBX control functions differently from a standard tone control by both cutting and adding treble, while the Active Midboost is responsible for Clapton’s well known Woman Tone.
Finished in Pewter, one of the most sought after colors for this model, this example shows some light playwear on the body and pickguard but remains remarkably clean overall. The guitar is in excellent condition, bordering on near mint.
