Stamp 50s Rock 'n Roll Machine

This amp was hand built by amp guru Martin Staman here in the Netherlands. This Stamp Amp is based on the 5F2 circuit that once debuted in the mid-1950s. Although the later Fender's are best known for their great clean tones, the name of this amp is quite appropriate. The Tweed-like circuit has a power of 5 watts and can distort nicely without being too loud. But if you turn the volume knob back it becomes very nice and clean and you can also get that nice edge of break up tone with the 'bloom' for which the Tweeds are known. The 12 inch Celestion speaker provides enough body and balance in the frequencies. This Stamp is in used condition with light traces of use on the tolex and control plate.
