De Songwriter werd voor het eerst geïntroduceerd in 2003 en combineert Gibson's aloude bracing-patronen uit de jaren 30 met hun originele dreadnought-vorm, wat een superieure klankkwaliteit oplevert.
Met prachtige palissander zij- en achterkant gecombineerd met een Sitka sparren bovenblad. De Songwriter is Gibsons moderne palissander dreadnought met een superieur dynamisch bereik.
