In navolging van 35 jaar 4xEL84 traditie met succesvolle modellen zoals de Caliber, Maverick, Nomad en Lone Star besloot Mesa Engineering om de legendarisch en allereerste MARK preamp aan de 9-pin power lineup toe te voegen met deze Mark Five 35. Dit midden/lichtgewicht is een geupgrade renditie van het recente succesnummer; de Mark Five 25.
