Alejandro Flamenca Negra 1978

Regular price € 4.249

(incl. 0 % VAT)

This flamenco negra was built by Alex van der Horst, who built guitars under the name Alejandro in his workshop in Torremolinos, Malaga, Spain. Van der Horst was born in Amsterdam in 1959 and moved to Spain at the age of 17, where he sadly passed away at a far too young age in 2009.

Alejandro guitars are characterized by their lightweight construction, good response, and smooth playability. This Flamenco Negra is no exception, as with its thin cedar top and rosewood body, this guitar fits that profile perfectly. The guitar has a beautiful warm tone with a very fine bass response and a well-balanced treble.

This flamenco negra from 1979 has stood the test of time well, but has undergone some repairs. On the top, a large crack centrally located on the top has been stabilized with a cleat on the inside, and there are two smaller, stable cracks near the binding.

The top has also received a new coat of French polish, as the playing marks around the replaced golpeador are located beneath the lacquer layer. The lacquer on the body shows craquelé. The frets have ample height, and the guitar plays smoothly!

Comes with TFOA passport in a case.
