The Bad Cat Cub Combo Amp captures the essence of Bad Cat’s boutique tone in a highly versatile, single-channel amp. This new version of the Cub refines and builds on the original design, offering more flexibility and tonal options than ever before.

At its heart, the Cub is powered by 30 watts, driven by two EL34 power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes, designed to deliver both clean and overdriven tones. With its Clean/Overdrive gain selector, the amp allows you to toggle between classic Cub circuitry in the clean mode and a newly voiced, more aggressive overdrive for high-gain settings. Two switchable master volumes allow players to find the right balance for their sound and environment, whether practicing or performing.

This amp comes equipped with a custom UK-made 12” Celestion speaker, providing full and rich sound across the tonal spectrum. Studio-quality reverb and a buffered FX loop make it easy to integrate external effects, and individual speaker outputs (4, 8, 16, 2x4, and 2x8 ohms) ensure compatibility with various cabinet setups. The Cub also includes a two-button footswitch for on-the-fly changes between gain modes and master volumes.

Housed in a Baltic Birch cabinet, the Cub Combo is both durable and visually striking, with dimensions designed for portability without sacrificing performance.
