Bourgeois Professional Series Vintage Dreadnought Satin

The Bourgeois Professional Series Vintage Dreadnought is a flagship design from one of America's most revered boutique builders. Designed to capture the look and voice of the great pre-war dreadnoughts while delivering thoroughly modern playability, it is built for players who want vintage soul without vintage compromise.

A hand-selected solid sitka spruce top is paired with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, voiced with Bourgeois' renowned approach to tuning the top and scalloped X bracing. The deep body, wide bouts and long 25.5 inch scale give it exceptional projection and a powerful low end, together with the clarity and note separation that make Bourgeois instruments so sought after. The thin satin finish lets the top move freely for an open, resonant voice.

Every detail reflects the vintage inspiration. A Honduran mahogany neck with a comfortable V profile carries an ebony fingerboard with abalone slotted squares and diamonds inlays, while ivoroid binding, herringbone purfling, a tortoise pickguard and a ziricote headstock veneer complete the pre-war aesthetic. Schaller Vintage Bean 18:1 tuners keep it stable and precise. The result is a dreadnought that looks, feels and sounds like a true vintage classic.

It comes supplied in a hardshell case with a humidifier, hangtags, booklets and a TFOA Passport.
