Bourgeois Professional Series Vintage OM Satin

This Bourgeois Professional Series Vintage OM in satin brings together hand selected sitka spruce and top grade East Indian rosewood in a guitar that is made to be played. Its satin lacquer lets the top vibrate freely, which helps give the guitar an open, responsive sound, and the OM body delivers a balanced, articulate voice that responds beautifully to both fingerstyle and flatpicking.

The Vintage has been part of the Bourgeois line for many years, and its design takes its cue from the great pre war flattops while adding modern features such as a graphite reinforced, double action truss rod and Bourgeois' own detachable neck joint. Like every guitar in the Professional Series, it is handcrafted in Lewiston, Maine, for players who rely on their instrument every day. Abalone slotted squares and diamonds on the ebony fingerboard, a black and white vintage rosette and a zipper backstrip give it a refined, classic look.

The rosewood back and sides give the guitar a rich, complex tone with a deep low end and plenty of shimmering overtones, while the sitka spruce top keeps the sound clear and powerful when you dig in. The OM body keeps that richness focused and balanced, so every note comes through with definition. The Honduran mahogany neck feels solid and comfortable in the hand, and the ebony fingerboard adds clarity and a smooth, fast feel. It comes with a hardshell case.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
