What makes the Touchstone Signature sound so impressive is its hand-selected top, shaped in the Bourgeois workshop in Lewiston, Maine. Here, Dana Bourgeois and his team ensure that every note sounds clear, deep, and characterful, a hallmark of that distinctive Bourgeois sound.

Thanks to Dana's expertise in tap-tuning and his 50 years of experience in hand-voicing, the Touchstone Signature offers a tone that appeals to both traditional and modern guitarists. Dana's methodology, which optimizes the natural qualities of the finest tonewoods, is at the heart of the Touchstone Signature. Each top is meticulously shaped and adjusted to maximize the wood's potential.

Once the tops are approved by Dana, they are sent to the Eastman workshop. There, a select group of Eastman’s most experienced luthiers, trained in Bourgeois’ tonal philosophy, craft the wood into Dana’s designs. This results in each guitar coming to life with a unique, warm, and resonant tone!
