BSG OM27F Rosewood Spruce 2026

This 2026 BSG OM27F pairs a solid sitka spruce top with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, a classic combination that gives it a balanced, clear and wonderfully detailed voice. It is a guitar that feels just as much at home with delicate fingerstyle as with light strumming, and its refined appointments give it an elegant look to match.

BSG guitars are built by Jan Šťovíček in the Czech Republic, and his instruments are increasingly appreciated around the world for their very high build quality. In the model name, 27 refers to the Indian rosewood back and sides, while the F stands for full solid, meaning both the top and the back and sides are made of solid wood.

The rosewood back and sides give the guitar a rich low end and shimmering overtones, while the sitka spruce top keeps the sound clear and powerful, and the scalloped X bracing lets the top respond freely for extra resonance. The OM body keeps all of that focused and balanced, and the longer 650 mm scale adds a little more string tension, which gives the notes extra clarity and projection. Herringbone purfling and rosette, curly anigre binding and mother of pearl snowflake inlays add a touch of visual flair to this classic design.

This 2026 OM27F is in excellent condition and still looks very clean. It shows only light signs of play in the form of small scratches, mainly in the area where a pickguard would normally sit. It comes with a hardshell case and a TFOA Passport.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
