The Collings CL Jazz is one of those guitars that instantly feels special. Hand-built in Austin, Texas, this hollowbody archtop combines the warmth and elegance of a classic jazz box with the precision and playability Collings is loved for.

Built as a fully hollow archtop, the CL Jazz pairs a solid spruce top with a Honduran mahogany body, a combination that gives it a warm, woody and beautifully focused voice with plenty of air and dynamic range. As with every Collings, the craftsmanship and attention to detail are exceptional, with every element considered and executed to a standard very few builders can match. The elegant blonde nitrocellulose finish ties it all together.

At the neck sits a single floating Lollar Johnny Smith pickup, a classic archtop choice that delivers a smooth, warm and vocal jazz tone without interfering with the top's natural acoustic resonance. A Honduran mahogany neck with a comfortable C profile and an ebony fingerboard makes the CL Jazz effortless to play, whether you are comping lush chords or running fast single-note lines, while the adjustable ebony bridge, ebony tailpiece and nickel Gotoh tuners with the Collings logo complete the package.

Plugged in or played acoustically, the CL Jazz has that unmistakable archtop voice: round, clear and endlessly expressive, with a warmth and bloom that make every note sing.
