Collings' I35 Semi-Hollowbody is one of these instruments and honestly, Collings' I35s already seemed exceptional, until we got to see the first mock-ups of this LC Vintage.

For the I35 LC Vintage, everything has been redesigned and built from the ground up. From the construction of the laminated maple, the new center block and the neck with the grain, weight and density taken into account. That's how far Collings goes for his instruments!

The deep, resonant acoustic sound is brought to life by the Throbak Humbuckers, making it even more versatile! Based on the lower output PAFs often found in vintage 335s, this pickup has a brighter overall tone. This results in exceptional definition for every chord and a great presence to cut through the mix.
