The Eastman Kauffmann Series is the result of a collaboration between Eastman Guitars and the Dutch craftsmen of Kauffmann Guitars! This Eastman Kauffmann SC Classic is handmade in the Netherlands, combining the soul of a classic with the precision of modern luthiery.

The DC is the all-round model in the series, loved by studio and live players who value versatility! Its body is made of roasted Oregon pine, a naturally light wood that delivers a warm, resonant tone—even acoustically noticeable. Combined with the roasted maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and the Long Tenon 2-Bolt Neck System, it provides impressive sustain and a rich, resonant sound that brings every note to life!

The series is equipped with Lollar pickups, the renowned tone specialists from Seattle. The neck and middle pickups are Lollar Special Sixty-Fours, based on the classic ’64 single-coil sound: bright, open, and glassy in the highs, with enough body in the midrange. The bridge pickup is a Lollar Special S, offering slightly more output and bite, giving the bridge tone a sharp, present character.

And of course, Kauffmann is known for their beautiful TTT (Time Travel Treatment), which gives these guitars a convincing vintage character, as if they’ve passed through generations of hands! Delivered with its certificate of authenticity.
