The wound strings are made of nickel-plated steel wrapped around a hexagonal steel core. The non-wound strings are made of specially hardened tin-plated carbon steel. Together they deliver a balanced, warm and clear sound, suitable for many types of music.

These strings run from 0.011 (High E) to 0.048 (Low E), comparable to a normal set of 0.011 strings where the low E thins fails (And therefore also the descending strings).

The Slinky electric strings are made with the finest and purest raw materials. All Ernie Ball strings are packaged in a hermetically sealed package to ensure that the strings stay as fresh as the day they were made.
