Fender Custom Shop Michael Landau 1963 Stratocaster Fiesta Red Relic

World-renowned session ace Michael Landau has lent his signature tone to hundreds of albums since the early 1980s, working with legends like Joni Mitchell, Michael Jackson, Seal, James Taylor, B.B. King, Pink Floyd and Miles Davis.

Beyond session work, Landau has fronted bands such as Burning Water, the Raging Honkies, and Renegade Creation with Robben Ford—continually pushing the envelope in electric jazz, instrumental, and rock guitar.

The Fender Custom Shop Artist Collection Michael Landau Signature 1963 Relic Stratocaster is a tribute to Landau’s own well-worn ’63 Strat. It features a hand-selected lightweight alder body and a striking relic’d finish in Fiesta Red over Three-Color Sunburst. The neck has a custom oval C-profile, paired with a round-laminated dark rosewood fingerboard with 7.25" radius and 6105 frets for vintage comfort and modern playability.

Custom hand-wound pickups and wiring, five-way switching, a vintage-style tremolo, and a period-correct small headstock round out the details. Comes with a case, strap, and a Fender Custom Shop certificate of authenticity.
