Fender Hot Rod De Ville 212 Racing Red 2012

The Fender Hot Rod DeVille III 212 is a 60 watt all tube workhorse, and this is a limited edition version from 2012, dressed in striking red with an upgraded 2x12 speaker setup. It pairs the classic Fender clean headroom players have relied on for decades with a hotter, more aggressive voice, and it stands out from the standard models in both looks and sound.

The Hot Rod DeVille has long been a staple on stages and in studios, loved for its loud, pristine Fender cleans and its surprisingly versatile overdrive. This limited run adds a bold red tolex finish and, most importantly, a pair of 12 inch Eminence "The Wizard" speakers in place of the standard drivers. These British voiced speakers give the amp a tighter low end, a crunchier midrange and more bark and bite than a traditional American voiced Fender combo.

It delivers 60 watts from two 6L6 power tubes with a three 12AX7 preamp section, across two channels. The Normal channel serves up that famous Fender sparkle and headroom, while the Drive channel, with its More Drive option, moves from warm breakup to thick, saturated gain. Onboard you get lush Fender spring reverb, a bright switch, presence and a full three band EQ, along with two inputs and an included footswitch for switching channels and drive on the fly.

This is a limited edition model and is in excellent condition. It comes with its footswitch.
