Unlike its cousin the FD2, the FD3 uses both a JFET input and a JFET op-amp, giving it the most tube-like sound you can get from a pedal. Along with this great sound, these JFETs give the FD3 ultra-high input impedance allowing the pedal to mate with any type of pickup, reacts well to changes in your guitar's volume control.

Set the 3-way Toggle switch to 90's and you get symmetrical clipping with a wide center. Set the switch to WIDE ASYM (wide asymmetric) and more treble and bass will come through. Aggressive, cutting and capable of a massive volume boost to beat your amp's input.

Unlike the FD2, the FD3 has a completely independent OVERDRIVE and BOOST channel. The BOOST channel is extremely transparent.
