Gibson Custom Shop 1960 Les Paul Standard V1 60th Anniversary 2020

This limited-edition 60th Anniversary Les Paul celebrates the 60th anniversary of the 1960 Les Paul Standard, a guitar that has been essential to music across all genres for six decades.

This Les Paul pays tribute to one of the most iconic guitars in music history. Precision-crafted by the craftsmen at the Gibson Custom Shop, this model honors the six-decade legacy of the legendary 1960 Les Paul Standard.

The artists at the Gibson Custom Shop have proudly captured the experience of owning the original through meticulous attention to detail and the study of authentic vintage examples. They have identified three different versions. The V1 was produced in the early part of the year and has the same specifications as the original 1959 Les Pauls. The V2 has a thinner neck profile, different knobs, and a clear finish, while the V3 has an even thinner neck profile.

This 60th Anniversary Les Paul V1 from 2020 features a beautiful Deep Cherry Sunburst VOS finish and remains in excellent condition. The guitar shows light wear, and the binding on both the body and neck shows some red lacquer fading. However, the guitar is very clean and comes in a Gibson case.
