Gretsch Quilt Classics are stylish versions of classic vintage models, reborn with beautiful, hugely figured 'quilted' maple!

The G6134TGQM-59 features a high-quality quilted maple top with a chambered mahogany body that increases harmonic richness by allowing air to resonate between the top and body for a livelier and more articulate tone. The beautifully contoured top of the G6134TQM-59 is finished with nitrocellulose lacquer and is further enhanced by the stunning Forge Glow finish, while the dark stained body provides a refined contrast that is packed with classic Gretsch style and vibe such as the gold-tone hardware and Neo- Classic thumbnail key inlay.​

The guitar is equipped with TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity Filter'Tron pickups, a faithful reproduction of the original Filter'Tron pickups invented by the legendary Ray Butts. The pickups were created according to Ray's personal notes and designs, along with TV Jones' extensive decades-long analysis of original Filter'Tron pickups.

They produce a tighter bass response and slightly more top end than modern Filter'Tron pickups, and the absence of wax potting results in a more open, three-dimensional sound with truly unique sparkle and exceptional dynamics. The volume can be adjusted per pickup, with also a master volume, while the typical Tone switch offers two additional sound options in addition to the bypass.​

The guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity in a hardshell case.
