Hofner New President Blonde 2004

Höfner has been building guitars since 1887 and introduced the President in the 1950s. This archtop was intended for jazz guitarists who wanted a robust guitar with a refined sound. The new President continues this tradition with a modern interpretation!

With a laminated back and sides made of flamed maple and a hand-carved top of German spruce, the tonewood of this guitar is of top quality. The neck, also made of flamed maple, joins the body at the 16th fret and features an ebony fingerboard. Further details such as the binding, purfling, and the beautifully rounded ebony pickguard emphasize the high quality of the instrument.

Moreover, the single mini-humbucker in the neck position ensures an excellent amplified sound.

This 2000 Höfner shows some signs of use. Notable are the cracks in the bottom and sides. These cracks are mainly in the lacquer. At the tailpiece, the crack has been reinforced from the inside. The tailpiece has also been repaired. The bridge and nut have been replaced. All in all, the guitar is in good condition and all necessary maintenance has been performed.

The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in the original hard case.
