Jaaz Acoustics Compact 6i XBS

The Jaaz Acoustics Compact 6i XBS is a powerful, compact combo amplifier designed specifically for double bass and electric bass guitar. With 250 watts of power and a maximum sound pressure level of 124 dB, it delivers more than enough volume for small and medium-sized stages. The BASS SMOOTH 8 speaker provides a powerful, controlled bass response, while its weight of just 7.2 kg and compact dimensions make it easy to transport.

The amplifier features six inputs for instruments, microphones and line-level signals, including Bluetooth audio. Four of these inputs are available for instruments and microphones, allowing different pickups and microphones to be combined, such as a magnetic pickup with a piezo pickup, or an internal pickup with an external microphone. This makes the Compact 6i XBS particularly suitable for double bass players who want to amplify their instrument faithfully while also singing during a performance.

Jaaz Acoustics is a Czech manufacturer of high-quality, lightweight guitar amplifiers, founded by engineers Jan O. Soelder and Ivo C. Miler, who combine their passion for music and electronics. Since its first designs in the 1970s, the brand has specialised in amplifiers for acoustic and jazz guitars. The current generation combines handcrafted electronics, carefully selected components and lightweight birch plywood cabinets with modern FRFR speaker technology.

The result is a range of compact, high-powered amplifiers that deliver faithful sound reproduction, suitable for acoustic, electric and jazz guitars, as well as modelers and other instruments.
