The Double Dreamer combines two iconic overdrive units, the Tubedreamer and Lucydreamer, into one compact and fully handmade pedal. This makes it unique with three clever features that offer maximum tonal variety, practical flexibility, and functionality, all packed into a small footprint.

With the high-gain-stage footswitch, you can easily activate an extra gain level for more power and sustain. The 3-way toggle switch determines whether this boost works on the Tubedreamer, the Lucydreamer, or both at the same time, allowing you to quickly switch between different gain combinations.

Internal dip switches allow you to convert the input and output into send-return loops, enabling you to control each side individually with an external switcher or place them at different points in your signal chain. In a stereo setup, you can connect the Tubedreamer to one amplifier and the Lucydreamer to the other for a rich, parallel overdrive sound.

The Tubedreamer is inspired by the legendary 808 Tubescreamer, featuring a carefully tuned midrange that delivers a warm, rich overdrive. With asymmetrical clipping (3 diodes), it responds especially sensitively to nuances in your playing style. It uses the classic JRC4558D chip found in the original 808s.

The Lucydreamer has less mid-hump and allows more low end to come through, with a wide gain range from dynamic tube-like breakup to full high-gain saturation. Thanks to its unique clipping and chip, it adds harmonic layers that blend perfectly with the Tubedreamer, while keeping chords clear.

Together, they form a versatile tool with up to six gain stages you can switch between live, offering endless creative possibilities! The Double Dreamer also features soft-click (relay) switching for quiet, reliable operation.
