Most original Torres guitars are now museum pieces; Jellinghaus' interpretation, by contrast, was made to be played.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAs a Master Built instrument, this Torres77 is entirely handmade, using carefully selected and well-seasoned tonewoods. As was traditionally customary, the Swiss Moon Spruce top is harvested during the waning moon for increased stability. The Torres-style fan bracing provides rich sustain and surprisingly powerful volume for the compact parlor format, while the solid Purpleheart body delivers warm bass, with a clear and well-defined midrange and treble.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe cedar neck with ebony fingerboard and shorter scale length also make the guitar particularly comfortable to play.
